Importing to MyChemicals

If you have a saved a MyChemicals collection TXT file, then you can import the saved file to re-create that list of substances. You'll have the option to include just the substances in the saved file—or you can combine your saved file with other substances already in the MyChemicals collection to make a new list.

  1. Click View MyChemicals in the sidebar to see the collection.
  2. Scroll down the page, then click Import.
  3. Click Browse, then find and select your previously saved file. Click Open. See the Open buttonSee the Open button

    Select the previously saved MyChemicals collection that you want to import, then click Open.

  4. Choose how you want to import the list:
    • Replace will clear the current list and replace it with the saved list.
    • Append will add the saved list to the current list.
  5. Click Import. See the Import button.

The selected text file will replace the current MyChemicals collection when it is imported.

The MyChemicals page displays, with the imported chemicals listed.
